MNRB Retakaful Berhad was incorporated in December 2006, as a wholly owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Berhad and was granted the operating license by Bank Negara Malaysia on August 1st 2007. It is another effort to position the MNRB group as a significant player in the global takaful industry and to assist in promoting Malaysia as a leading centre for the development of the Islamic finance industry.
